Grants are often offered by county and district councils to promote the use of reusable nappies, and to divert disposable nappies away from our landfills.
The following table lists these council incentive schemes. It is not fully inclusive and the offers may change or may no longer be available. Contact your local council for further details.

Real Nappies for London offers vouchers (worth up to £54.15) to parents as an incentive to try reusable nappies. The scheme provides parents, in participating boroughs, with vouchers which can be redeemed at Lizzie’s Real Nappies. Visit Real Nappies for London or your local council for more information.
London Boroughs currently taking part in the real nappy voucher scheme include:

Cashback ranges from £30.00 to £54.15 depeding on the council.

To use your vouchers please follow these 2 simple steps: Step 1: E-mail or call us on 01244 346 797. We will ask you to post your voucher and proof of ID (photocopy of passport, driving licence or ID card) to us at: RNfL vouchers, Lizzie’s Real Nappies, Unit 26, Sandileigh, Hoole, Chester, CH2 3QP. Once we receive your voucher we will then email or phone you with a discount code which can be used to purchase your nappies. Step 2: Place an order for real nappies and use your discount code at checkout. The value of the voucher will be deducted from the cost of the nappies. Please note: vouchers can only be used to purchase real nappies or associated accessories (wraps, nappi nippas, liners etc). It does not include training pants. The value of the order must be the same as or exceed the value of the voucher. |

Denbighshire County Council
Denbighshire County Council is offering vouchers worth up to £75 to be used in part-payment for the purchase of real nappies. These vouchers can be redeemed here at Lizzie’s Real Nappies.
To qualify:

You and your child must live in Denbighshire

Your child must be aged between 0 and 18 months
You will receive vouchers worth £25 each for use when your baby is aged 0-3 months, 4-9 months and 10-18 months old.
A copy of the birth certificate should be submitted along with two recent utility bills or your Council Tax demand. They now accept the MAT B1 in place of the birth certificate for parents wishing to apply for vouchers before the baby is due.
